Fire Quencher for PFP Coatings

The Fire Quencher technology will be designed for use to protect hydrocarbon fire and cellulosic fire which play a critical role in protecting lives and assets. These PFP materials are used in offshore facilities, power plants, structural elements, beams, columns and residential roofing.

These two types of materials, cementitious and intumescent PFP are tested per industrial PFP fire standards such as ASTM E84 (UL 723), NAPA 255, and UL 1709 for hydrocarbon fire.

E&K Fire Quencher Features (Cementitious Type) and Organic Intumescent Coatings can be used in the following areas:
  • Permanent - Life of Building
  • No PU blowing agents, No greenhouse gases
  • Indestructible/Indefinite performance
  • Halogen and Halide free
  • Flame spread per E84
Fire Quencher can be applied in thin or very thick applications. Due to its lightweight workability, flexibility and variety of textured finishes, it can be used wherever insulation, vermin protection and/or sound deadening is required. This material can be reinforced with other various mesh materials or fibers to add structural strength and to prevent cracking due to vibrations or flexing.

E&K Products' fire proofing products are manufactured in the United States. These PFP products bond to existing modular and mobile homes (or any other flammable structure) creating a fireproof insulating shield against firestorm disasters. Our PFP is a special blend of nonflammable materials that bond directly to surfaces. Thereby, creating a fireproof barrier that can withstand a blow torch's 2000 F+ degree flame.
