Rigid Insulation Foams

Low-density rigid polyurethane foams are among the best insulates properties of all commercial materials. Such foams are commonly used to insulate refrigerators, cold storage buildings and controlled atmosphere rooms, and are used in building panels and as insulation in commercial roofing. Rigid insulation foam can be applied between pairs of thin metal sheets to make stiff, lightweight panels ("stress skin panels") with good insulating properties. 2.5 pcf of Pour and Spray Foam is used to insulate the external fuel tanks on the space shuttle. The application for the E&K 1000 series rigid spray foam systems are many and growing from roofing to cryogenic storage tanks to offshore fishing boats and beyond. These rigid foam systems are used for: roofing, cold storage and hot or cold tanks, agriculture, pipelines, transportation, controlled atmosphere facilities and wall insulation.
