Flexible Polyurethane Foams

When the reacted polyurethane includes voids, it is polyurethane foam. The foam may be rigid or flexible, and if flexible, may be formed with or without an integral skin. Integral skin foams traditionally have been produced by using chlorofluorocarbons in the polyurethane system. With increasing environmental regulation, it has been necessary to find alternate technologies that yield integral skin on polyurethane foam. E&K offers a line of systems that form an integral skin with simple water as the principal ingredient creating the voids. Among the products made from the company's flexible foam systems are furniture components (armrests and seats), seats for automobiles and motorcycles, spa pillows, weights and weight benches, and protective products at amusement parks.

E&K offers a broad range of flexible and integral skinning foams. Both the standard high resilient flexible foams and our integral skin systems are available in fire retardant version. Our line of fire retardant flexible foam has met construction codes, transportation codes and FAA airline requirements.

Our flexible foams are tough, resilient, environmentally friendly, and meet the most exacting of our customer requirements.
